I am a Vancouver-based Registered Occupational Therapist.
I work with clients in person in the Lower Mainland and via telehealth across BC and the Yukon. I have community rehabilitation experience in kinesiology and occupational therapy focused on helping individuals recovering from accidents, illness, and burnout return to work and daily life. My current practice primarily focuses in the area of non-apparent disabilities and challenges such as mental health, chronic pain, and concussion recovery.
I am passionate about supporting individuals to resume their participation in meaningful activities through realistic goal setting and learning strategies to build resilience and better manage pain and stress. I believe that meeting clients where they are at and establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship is imperative to a client’s recovery and rehabilitation success. As such, I acknowledge that various social influences, such as race, class, gender, sexual orientation, culture, neurodivergence, and ability/disability impact one’s occupational choice, safety, and participation. This lens guides my empathetic approach to provide collaborative, culturally safe, and inclusive care.
Rain or shine, outside of work, you’ll find me connecting with my community, traveling, or enjoying the local mountains, ocean, and forest with my dog, partner, and loved ones.
My work is informed by a variety of evidence based approaches in occupational therapy. As an engaged and lifelong learner, I am committed to growing professionally and personally by continually seeking out learning opportunities. As of 2024, I have completed training in the following areas:
Education
Registration
Professional Memberships
CAOT Practice Network Involvement
